Being in the creative industry | You've got to do your best.

Those in our line of work habitually drop posts with nice lines and adorable quotes which can hit the spot and appeal to the various situations people are facing at a particular point in time.

Sometimes, I go through my old posts to read them. When I do, I see some juicy lines which serve as an inspiration to me.

I always like to think that all these hundreds of posts I have to my name must-have also inspired someone. Thankfully, I publish my stuff in a blockchain where my data is secured so, even if nobody happened to read from me today, they can still stumble upon it in the future and hopefully learn from whatever I wrote.

In case you are here trying to publish stuff every day, I want you to always remind yourself that the words we use are not just falling on stones. People read them and they don't just read them as a way to dilly-dally, they are trying to learn from you, and about you. It doesn't matter if you have a thousand followers or zero followers. Someone like me can casually run through your profile to read a post you made a week ago. And, I have done that on several occasions.

At this point, it becomes important for you to always publish something you will be proud of.

I'm sure people don't take their blog page seriously whenever they choose to spam it with low-quality content. If they understood that someone's life can change for the better by merely reading a post on here, they will surely focus on publishing things that are of decent quality.

Lifestyle contents are inclusive. I'm one of those that like to learn about people's lifestyle and their daily experiences with all the struggles and little wins they experience each day. I have also been able to learn a lot about how people live their lives in different parts of the world and it's all thanks to the quality of Lifestyle and Cross-cultural content I came across over the last few months.

Of course, I have also seen the ones that are just pictures. For the record, I have nothing against those adorable pictures, but each picture has stories to tell so, before you dump pictures on us, try as much as possible to spice it up with some written content. If not for any other thing, then do it as a way to boost the reader's experience.

Sounds like I'm giving a content creation sermon. Hehe. Not my intention, but it came out well so, take whatever you can from it and put it into practice while publishing your stuff on here.

One last sermon for the road; Aside from the quality of what you publish, if you want to be successful as a content creator, you have to develop a good reading habit.

Ciao!
