Hello my blurt fam! It's been a while since i had my last post. Well, i was quite busy and i've been to many different activities from this past few days.
As yesterday, September 28, 2023, we, the RLMMH celebrated the World Rabies Day.
As from our discussion, we learned that the World Rabies Day was established by the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) every September 28. It is an transcendental day to promote the fight against this desease and reinforce awareness about its prevention.
This year's World Rabies Day theme is: “All for 1, One Health for all”. 28 September this year will mark the 17th World Rabies Day
It was attended by all staff headed by our ever active Chief of Hospital, with patients who were scheduled for their vaccine. It was a 3 hour activity.
Right after the program, we gave certificates to the resource speaker, prizes to the first 10 who came early. They're all happy despite the fact that in a few minutes later they will get their vaccine and during that time we had a poor 2 years old baby boy who played with his kitten and got bitten.
And the last part was the distribution of snacks and i was one of the incharge☺️.
