Hello my blurt fam! I am now on my 14th day of duty in ER (Emergency Department).

ED/ER is the abbreviation for emergency deparment or emergency room. This is the department in the hospital that provides immediate treatment for acute illnesses and trauma.

This is also where people who have severe injuries or sudden illnesses are taken for emergency treatment.

This hospital service is where people can seek immediate help that can't be managed or treated at home, in a doctor's office, or at an urgent care facility.

We at ER, after the patient o SO (significant other- the one who accompanies the patient) explain their emergency, a triage nurse will assess your condition.

You will be asked to wait or go immediately to Trauma, SARI, or clean ER depending on the severity of your illness or injury. Once you're inside the room, me as anursing attendant will check your vital signs and a nurse will ask you a few questions and then fill out paperwork for the doctor to review.

I've been assigned here for this month of August but I am still adjusting on the routines here. Sometimes we're not busy, but most of the time we were full of patients with different cases.

Having an ice cream before going home to refresh our moods.
