What can you do for Blurt?
Thanks for this life-lifting question. For so long I've been waiting for an opportunity like this. I had discussed this with one of my fellow blurtians (@lilbiz ) on how we can grow a community here in Adamawa state, Nigeria. In order to achieve this dream, we needed a capital, a good amount of blurt power so we can reach lots of people and create a new community (blurtnorth) that will help our prospects and of course, newbie on the platform as well.
Our target was to get at least 60k-70k blurt power to support the community, and with time, we could get more items like t-shirts, caps and flyers to viralize the project.
With this blurt power, we could;
Getting a good voting power to support our new community account that will aid us to support lots of new users on the platform, most especially our new community members.
With this blurt power in either of our accounts, our newbies are sure to get more rewards when they write good and quality contents only, this will help bring more members on board.
Starting a new community from grass without any good blurt power from any of the founders set for post promotion means we will have little or no reputation, and it will take us a little while, even much more longer before we could grow our reputation on the platform.
But as for what will I do for Blurt with such blurt power.
If I have 100000 blurt power on my blurt.blog account, these are some of the things I will do for Blurt;
I will use my voting power to support good contents, quality contents mostly from new members on the platform. When I support these new members, may be by upvoting their good contents, or by reblurtting their posts, it will help them gain more visibility and increase their reputation on the platform, and if they stick to the aim of investing in the platform, they will in turn, help grow the community and this should be our target as blurtians.
I will meet, promote, and collaborate other big users on the platform on how to grow the platform. With such good amount of blurt power, I can meet other users with new my new projects or ideas such as organizing a talk show, photo contest, giving users tasks of creating good photos or graphics of blurt...... and more!!! With this we can interact with new users and increase their level of morale which will ginger them more on the platform. Collaborating with other users will help balance our project and attract more users to participate.
This blurt power will encourage me to be active on the platform. With this, I can promote engagement within the platform by commenting on posts, upvoting valid comments and sharing good contents to the broader community. I believe that with this, I can help build a sense of community and encourage others to get involved and contribute.
Most importantly, I will host contests and giveaways: Just as I have talked about my plans of starting a new community, I can use this privilege to organise good contests within my community, and to the entire blurt community at large. Hosting contests will be a fun and engaging way to encourage user's participation and attract new users to the platform.
Lats but not the least, there's one thing I love doing even when I have little blurt power. I love organising some learning and educational resources on my blog to help every user, most especially the newbies. With my influence on the platform, getting a whopping 100000 blurt power, Ivan do better than before by providing learning tutorials for new users such as markdown applications, how to blog on blurt.blog, how to participate on contests, how to contribute to the blurt community and more.... These tutorials will help users improve their skills and knowledge, and will help grow and promote more engaged and talented community of creators (good creators) on the platform.
There might be more things I can do with this amount of blurt power as time goes by, but for now, I'm sure that these points I've listed will contribute largely and help in growing our blurt community.
