Just checking this out now. Thank you for respecting my privacy in the witness chat...but let be known that It's me who has been pushing for this service. As I really can't do anything with my operation reach out project unless there is a simple trail follow feature.
I see your points about auto vote and auto post even....That is fine, it makes sense.
As far as automation and this being similar to bots.... for what I'd like to do is having the account with the trail behind it be a manual voting account that's just been amplified by the support of the community. If you go back to my operation reach out post... You can see that I mention using this vote power in a very specific and concentrated way.

I believe if there are vote trails designed to support certain projects, topics, or communities, this is a very good thing. If you lay down an argument of well...it's going to be abused and people can't be trusted......
Than that is fine too. I'm just trying to help the platform, which equates to more free work from myself going into Blurt. So maybe it's actually better for me personally if this gets shot down. Leave up to the community at this point. Thanks @khrom for taking the time, apparently you really care about the direction of Blurt and what you believe is best for it. So thanks for taking the time and sharing your thoughts on the matter.
you know what basically i didn't really analyze all these comments yes i generally saw that the idea of autovoting came up and i wanted to bring it up publicly and express my doubts. On hive and steem, I was mainly an author and blogger and the only thing that came to my mind was this image when you post there and after 15 minutes you get all these votes from the machine, and then everything freezes basically for a week and you even feel that the blockchain is humming emptiness and not a living soul there. You see the same in other posts as well.
I really wouldn't want such a situation here because when I came here, I just felt pleasantly surprised that despite the fact that the Polish community is only 3-4 people, the activity of people of other nationalities and general activity was 10 times higher here with a much smaller number of users.
I like automation and I am learning how to automate various things as a programmer, the point is that this automation should serve something good and not something that in my opinion automation should never be.
I think you've been sitting on this mega private secret witness chat on discord for too long ;)
@megadrive doesn't trust people this is his main life trauma to work through. And since Blurt is largely his work and is created by his team, the whole project is imbued with what it represents. It also reaps fruit. If you don't trust people after a while, things happen that start to make you believe that, because distrust breeds distrust.
People can be trusted. People cannot be changed. You can't expect them to be different than they are. They are who they are, if you want to achieve something with them, you have to come to terms with what their strengths and weaknesses are and use those strengths and accept the weaknesses.
Your project will then be the result of all these possibilities and limitations. It may not be as perfect as you imagined, but it will be FOR people and it will work and serve everyone.
Otherwise, if you don't want to go this way, you'll have to act like a tyrant and introduce murderous rules. Go over the dead, block, ban, ban, order, censor and lock yourself in private chat rooms, where you and others will bathe in your sauce and slap, repeating how much others are untrustworthy. And also how with a heavy heart you had to freeze the account again to another "ungrateful" who didn't understand anything, twisted everything you said and sowed FUD ;]
The choice is always ours, but only one of these ways is developmental.
Good to know what you think. But I really don't know what my project has to do with @megadrive. I've never even had one word with him or any witness before making that project reach out post and simply requesting an easy to access vote trail feature.
Given what you lay out, it's probably best I just go back to writing travel posts and stuff. Thanks for your input it's very much appreciated. Also interesting how you deem yourself qualified to label and identify @megadrive's main life traumas. Maybe you can tell me about some of mine next time, I'm feeling kind of left out. lol Anyway, it's all good. First half of your response was spot on, second half....not so much. But that's okay, I'd still share a perogie with you any day of the week. ;)
Look, it wasn't my intention to discourage you. Honestly, I don't really know what your project is exactly. Honestly, I didn't even read your statements well, I only saw in the development plans written by sabion mentions of automatic voting and that was my motivator. Therefore, your nick was not included in this article because I did not associate it with you.
Nothing, i just say that you can trust people and i have the impression that after you said that people cannot be trusted, you got the mood from the witness chat where it is said that people allegedly twist everything, so there is no point in communicate with them and discuss anything.
I read what he writes, I see how he acts and what direction he takes. Of course, I don't know if this is his main trauma, but I can see that he clearly has a problem trusting people.
I'm not going to judge anything here, I was just reading a private witness chat and that's the impression I got.
well in my opinion that is something with kindness? :D very often you emphasize this feature and pay attention to it. Something might be up ;)
