Everybody loved Henry Cavill in the Witcher. A lot of people are saying that he is irreplaceable but he has moved on and despite the talks of Marvel projects has pulled something else out of the bag.
Warhammer: a new TV series that promises to bring the iconic game to the screen and it is Henry Cavill himsellf taking on the lead role in this huge adaptation.
What is Warhammer?
If you dont know Warhammer, it's a fantasy tabletop game known for its rich lore and epic battles.

Little is known about the plot, the trailer does not reveal anything but rumours suggest that the show will delve deep into the sprawling battles between Chaos and the Empire which will hopefully bring new fans to the table
Adapting a tabletop game into a TV series is a risk, there have been many attempts at book conversions to TV shows and really the only one of note is Game of Thrones and its subsequent spin of House of the Dragon.
It wont be too long before we see the Witcher in a new role and I h.ope they pull it off!
Actually warhammer was a Role playing paper game first, and then becomes a tabletop game and computer game.
As for Cavil, the Netflix Witcher series, which is a disgrace to our Polish games and books, clearly shows that unfortunately, despite the best intentions, one good actor is not able to handle what the mentally ill showrunners spoil, so personally, I approach such revelations with a distance ;)
The show was a disappointment that must be said. I came to the Witcher through the pc games originally before the books. I did think Henry Cavill was born to the role there just wasn't enough of him
