If your night sleep is not good, it does impact the full day. Last night I was just not able to sleep. I was sleepy but I had so many thoughts going on my mind that it was disturbing my sleep. I was trying not to think and sleep, but it would just not happen and by the time I realized it was 4 a.m. and I was still tossing around on my bed. Morning I had to wake up early also as by 9 a.m. had to leave for work. Finally after 4 I managed to sleep, but when I woke up at 8, I was not in my best mood and feeling as my sleep was not completed.
It is not a very common problem with me, I like to get my minimum 7 hours of peaceful and effortless sleep which makes me fresh and active for the next whole day and when this does not happen I feel a heavy head for the next whole day.
Specially today when I am in office and there was a management meet, this mood is just not the right one, and again it's going to be a long day. After finishing work when I go back home I do not wish to take a short nap because that will again disturb my tonight's sleep.
Studies on sleep deprivation connection to mental and physical health is so right. Not getting enough sleep on a regular basis does increase the risk of diseases and disorders.
For today I will keep it short and come back tomorrow with a fresh and better state of mind.
