Nobody has ever said that we don't like the "taste", or "flavour". If you didn't marinate, season, coat and slather regular dead animal meats with spices and sauces, they would have very little taste and flavour too. Plant based foods are so named according to the taste and flavour, so we know what flavour or taste we will be eating. And no.., like myself, I have yet to meet a fellow vegetarian/vegan who is secretly pining for dead animal steak or chicken. In fact the exact opposite is true. The very thought has become absurd and morbid to us. The idea that I might even get it accidentally in my food is enough to cause me to lose my appetite. So plant foods are only so named in order to know the flavour because it is not the "taste" that we don't like about dead animal foods, it is everything else that is wrong with it, that we don't like. For People, The Planet and Animals. Hope this answers your questions. 👍
