BANTAYAN ISLAND ESCAPED👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Yesterday's( Saturday) my husband plan to bring us with him into their new Project (concreting project)at the Place of Bantayan Island!

•Bantayan Island, located at the northernmost tip of Cebu, boasts stunning beaches and eco-tourism sites where you can do sightseeing, swimming, cliff diving, island-hopping, kayaking, and even skydiving.

•Aside from being a beach destination, Bantayan Island is also a fishing community. It plays Cebu's fishing grounds, supplying fresh catch to towns and provinces as far as Manila and Mindanao. They’re famous for their danggit (dried fish).

Because of this, you’ll be sure to fill your days with food tours feasting on the freshest seafood dishes for a lower price during your trip to Bantayan Island.

This was my first time and to my kids visiting the place, so I'm happy that he plan for this!

It's a very long long long ride..it took us almost 3 hours to arrived here at Hagnaya Port ( from consolacion to San Remegio Cebu!
When we arrived we got their 9:30 am trip going to Santa Fe, Bantayan Island!
After we got our tickets, we're waiting inside the terminal area until the time was come and the coast guard told us to get inside the ship!

•The 1 hour of waiting is over! We gladly and happy that altlast were on Santa Fe now!

Finally..this is it! I fell so much excitement because theres many wonderful and beautiful places to visit here!
At first,we first visit the site of my husband's work, we had our lunch,we buy dried fish(buwad) from the Bantayan..since buwad is the most popular pasalubong in the place!( I don't have a picture of my buwad/ dried fish but I will post it here later on).☺️

1st Visit! (Camp Sawi and Camp Wagi) @I AM OMAGIECA
•Bantayan Island sits at the northern part of Cebu and while the south is known for extreme adventures, Bantayan offers a place to find yourself and packs a great set of activities both for the thrill seeker and laidback traveler. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of destination, but to make it easier to decide on what you want to go for.

•Bantayan is home to Camp Sawi. However, that famous arc is not located in a resort but in a stunning mangrove eco park that gives you a walkthrough from Camp Sawi to Camp Wagi, no really, there is an arc by the end of the walk way that says “Camp Wagi”. This doesn’t only add a distinctive touch to the mangrove park, but it somewhat makes your walk in the park a bit more meaningful.

•Bantayan Island is a destination best known for its picturesque beaches, but another popular tourist spot slightly left field is The Ruins Bantayan. Typically when you hear of ruins in the Philippines, you think of the remnants of 16th-century Spanish colonisation, but The Ruins of Bantayan Island are actually just the remains of a German expat’s house which was destroyed by Typhoon Yolanda in 2013.

More than just an old, derelict building covered in graffiti, The Ruins Bantayan is also an awesome cliff jumping spot at high tide. Many locals gather at The Ruins to get an adrenaline rush as they send themselves over the cliffside.
