We travelled to Cebu City yesterday to transfer patient to tertiary hospital. We do not know that there is a gale warning due to typhoon "Egay". So as expected, all trips were cancelled and we were adviced to go to the evacuation center to stay for the night.
This is where we stayed last night. It was my first time to go there and being stranded. The place was overlooking, clean and the room is fully air conditioned. We were welcomed by their staff, gave us everything that we need.
We woke up at 4:30 because some of the passengers insisted that there are available trips on the other port so we hurriedly went there but we weren't lucky enough since it's already late, the boat has already embarked.
So we have to wait for the next trip. We had our breakfast and had a chit-chat with the other responder. We were grateful to the significant other of the patient for giving us free food, well one of my fave- Jollibee😁..
This is where we lined-up for our ticket..
And after a few hours of waiting, we are now boarding in Shuttle Ferry.
It may sounds funny, but yes, i was staying in the ambulance the whole trip having a good sleep and don't even mind the rough seas..
