Progressive Americans who value peace, justice, and human rights should not support the Islamic terrorist group Hamas in Israel.
Hamas is officially designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union, and other countries. Its tactics, including launching rocket attacks on civilian populations, undermine the principles of non-violence and respect for human life that are central to progressive values.
Hamas has consistently rejected the possibility of a two-state solution, which is one path towards lasting peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Its charter calls for the destruction of Israel, which hinders the prospects of a negotiated peace settlement.
Hamas has a problematic record on women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and freedom of speech. Stop defending them. Stop making excuses for them.

99% of Palestinians have no ties to Hamas. I don't understand why pro-Palestinian demonstrations are called pro-terrorist/Hamas demonstrations. In this madness I see the desire to start a war in the Middle East. Unfortunately, most of the right-wing media, politicians and voters are the biggest war-mongers. Soon they will get what they want because Biden can announce draft.
For the first time in my life I agree with these ladies who heard SHUT UP! after what they wrote. Why? Because they are not calling for the genocide of 2.3 M people?
