•Be a powerful leader. Followers will never know how much time, efforts and energy it takes from the leader to create a path.

•The most difficult task in the world is Understanding the Truth.

Task of Understanding involves the following steps:

Reception of Sensory inputs (Sensing)
Perception of Sensed inputs (Decoding) with the priority given to the Nature of Inputs
Conception of Perceived inputs (Deriving) with the priority given to the Desires of Unconscious Mind
Assimilation of Conceived inputs (Evaluating) with the priority given to Knowledge, Experience and Wisdom of Conscious Mind
Acceptance of inputs (Understanding)
Many people jump directly to Step 5 just after completing Steps 1 and 2 (like Judging the book by its cover)

The second biggest group of people jump to Step 5 after completing the Steps 1, 2 and 3 (rushing to a conclusion based on the impulsive desires)

Hardly a small group of people goes through the Step 4 (vital step of evaluating the Absolute Truth) before understanding the Reality

So it is better for the leader to move forward with the recognition and support of handful of people who manage to pass through the Step 4 (before indentifying the former) as they can always stay in Reality.

•Leaders make their own path. Followers have the advantage of following a well tested path and so creating a path is a different experience. It probably entailed back tracking and changing directions. Followers save time, pain and loss.

The mindset of a leader and follower is never the same.

A leader is one who trusts himself and takes decisions based on his own judgement. He starts the journey alone being convinced of his vision and sure of his objectives. However, soon people start following him because they too are seeking the same objectives and they believe that their chances of reaching to their goal are better when they are following the leader.

•A leader first leads himself,before others start following him. He is taking tremendous risk because he may fail while travelling on his path.

A follower is the person who prefers to follow a leader rather than his own vision. He feels safer in following the instructions from a leader on whom he has greater confidence than his own abilities. He plays safe under the protection of a leader.

It is true that many leaders start their career by following some leaders. However, they are like a student inthis regard who learn from their teachers and then move ahead of them. Their goal of following a leader is only to imbibe the leadership qualities quickly so that they can become leader themselves.

•A true follower is never graduated to become a leader. Even when he gets the opportunity to lead an organization or a nation, he simply follows the will of the people whom he is leading.
