Until about mid-November 2020, the price of SBD (STEEM-backed dollars) and HBD (HIVE-backed dollars) were about the same, about US$1. Since then, the price of SBDs has begun to rise, while HBDs have yet to move.
Then, with SBD going to the moon, the price difference between the two continued to widen until it reached its peak in early April and June 2021.
Subsequently, the prices of SBD and HBD were both corrected as they were affected by the price of Bitcoin.
Furthermore, with the last hard fork of Hive, which was HF-25 on June 30, HBD officially became a stablecoin. This means that the price of HBD will be algorithmically stabilized at about $1. This means that even if an author or curator is paid in HBD, the price of HBD will not rise forever.
Today the price of 1 SBD = $ 7.68 and 1 HBD = $ 0.97 (or SBD = 7.9 x HBD).
On the other hand, as you know, rewards on the Steem platform are paid in SBD, while rewards on the Hive platform are paid in HBD. So, for the same rewards, say 1 SBD on Steem and 1 HBD on Hive, a writer and curator on Steem can make 7.9 times more money than on Hive.
So let's post to Steem now. Its worth almost 8 times as much as Hive!
I agree that there is a huge chance of SBD going up and also going down. We can make some really good returns with this. But Blurt has just one currency and there is no confusion here.
There is a huge chance that Blurt will go up in the next few years and Blurt users will be earning a lot more than other platforms.
Yes you're right.. Especially after moving to cosmos..
Smoga blurt bisa bersaing juga
