I ordered a colocrossing to replace the Contabo, see this post: Contabo Server Down (Nuremberg Data Center): Plan to Move Away from it SOON.
The node (see here):
First Driver: 2TB SSD, Dedicated Server, and I choose Ubuntu20.04 and then do manual upgrade to Ubuntu24.04 via two times of do-release-upgrade. Monthly bandwidth 40TB, the network speed is 1G/s. The CPU is E3-1240.
I plan to run the following services on this node:
- the RPC node: https://api.justyy.com
- the steem seed node:
- the backup steem witness block production node.
- the transfer record services
- steem application database sync services for the Steem Tools
Currently, the 1-3 are in sync - however, I've not fully migrated to it yet.
