First of all, happy weekend to you! Since being in crypto (2008), I have obviously been using a lot of alternative platforms/ services and so on...
Recently, I have also looked at different options to replace closed source or services heavily influenced by large corporations such as google.
FInd below some of the apps/services/platforms that I have switched to.
Android: F-Droid app store is a great start for open source apps.
YouTube: I installed #Freetube on my laptop and I now use #Newpipe on my phone.
You can even connect #Peertube on #Newpipe
PeerTube is a tool for sharing online videos developed by Framasoft, a french non-profit.
Search engine: Lot of alternatives, but I have started using #Startpage
X (Twitter): Although I still use X, you can also try out mastodon as an open source option. I don't get a lot of interaction on there. I get much more using #Blurt
Inleo is also a great option on the #Hive side :P
Browser: As you see above, I use Vivaldi. It is also Chrome based, but I find the different tabs and workspaces useful. *I used the #vivaldi server to connect to #Mastodon
Podcast: I use #AntennaPod and connect RSS through it. The search function is pretty good to, so you can also try to connect a podcast directly after searching for it. 
Email: I use #proton. As simple as that, go give it a try :) I use their #VPN as well
There is a lot more to it to discover, and I will most likely add to this post eventually (or a different one)
