Finally We Completed The Staircase

If you remember, I shared about Staircase planning 5 months ago. So we found a design that both of us agreed on and wanted to do the same as in the photo. In the last episode, I only discussed the designing part and this time I am going to show you the works of a carpenter and the paint workers.

This was the image we found on the internet and We tried our best to make the same design for our house. After a discussion with the carpenter, we finalized to add "Kubuk" for the stairs & "Nandun" for the Railing part. So as in the first picture, the carpenter did his best to get the perfect outcome as we wanted. I am really satisfied with his work because we did exactly as we wanted.

After the carpenter's work, we started the painting work and That was the most challenging part of designing our house. The reason is, We wanted to add some colors to the walls which give the perfect look when you enter the home. Since we have an opening window on the first floor near to the staircase, we got some direct sunlight to the right side wall of the stairs. So we wanted to mix the color of that wall with the staircase painting.

Before polishing the stairs and railing we have to add black paint for the iron bars again due to some damages happening during the working time.

Finally we selected the light brown color for the railing part and the yellow color for the wall as below. In the evening time, with the sunlight, we can see a perfect look at the staircase and I really love that color combination.
