The 5th Match of the ICC Champions Trophy, 2025 was played today between Pakistan vs India at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. In which India beat Pakistan by 6 wickets.
TOSS- Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat.
Pakistan inning- Pakistan batted first after winning the toss, started the inning not very well and entire team dismissed just for 241 runs in fourth ball of the final over. In this way, the entire team all-out just for 241 runs in 49.4 overs and set a target of 242 runs for India.

India started the inning very well, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill came to start the inning, the first wicket was dismissed for 31 runs in last ball of the 5th over, Rohit Sharma dismissed for 20 runs in 15 balls, next batsman Virat Kohli came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 69 runs with Shubman Gill, the second wicket was dismissed for 100 runs in 17.3 over, Shubman Gill was dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 46 runs with the help of 7 boundaries in just 52 balls, followed by Shreyas Iyer came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant century partnership of 114 with Virat Kohli, the third wicket was dismissed for 214 runs in 38.5 over, Shreyas Iyer was dismissed after playing a brilliant half-century inning of 56 runs with the help of 1 six and 5 boundaries in 67 balls, next batsman Hardik Pandya came to bat and he was dismissed very quickly just for 8 runs in 6 balls as fourth wicket in last ball of the 40th over, the team score was 223 runs, followed by Axar Patel came to bat and he was remains unbeaten for 3 runs in 4 balls with Virat Kohli, and Virat Kohli played an unbeaten brilliant powerful century and a victory inning of 100 runs with the help of 7 boundaries in 111 balls. In this way, Indian chased the target very easily for the loss of just 4 wickets in 42.3 overs and won the match by 6 wickets.
Pakistani bowler- Shaheen Afridi took 2 wickets for 74 runs in 8 overs, Abrar Ahmed 1 wicket just for 28 runs in his spell, Khushdil Shah 1 wicket for 43 runs in 7.3 overs, Naseem Shah was wicketless for 37 runs in 8 overs, Haris Rauf wicketless for 52 runs in 7 overs, and Salman Agha also wicketless for 10 runs in 2 overs.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Indian batsman Virat Kohli was selected as the player of the match, he played an unbeaten brilliant powerful century and a victory inning of 100 runs with the help of 7 boundaries in 111 balls.
