Boye Mafe is a rookie defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks from Minnesota, which is a team with a lot of history and some big shakeups coming. Mafe was the 40th pick during the 2022 NFL Draft, and is a great pick for the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle needs defenders to protect the magic that is Wilson and Metcalf.

Mafe was drafted from Minnesota, and is a huge player at 6’ 4” and 261 pounds. He is ready to hit the field, and will be successful in his role. Mafe is famous for his vertical jump, and enters the Seahawks in time for training and the pre-season in good shape. The Seahawks are famous for their lack of defense and their second-half aggression. It is common to see the Hawks lag until halftime and pickup towards the end. Mafe brings a massive frame and a great potential for increasing the defensive capabilities of the Seahawks. The Hawks has a powerful offense in the hands of Metcalf and Wilson, who is an aggressive quarterback who has proven he can run the line as required.
