Frank Gore of the San Francisco 49ers retired today after a long career. He was well known and regarded for rushing, and finished his career with a record 16,000 yards. He was the third most accomplished rusher in NFL history, and set records after 30. Frank wore #21 and you could see his intensity as players square off on the line of scrimmage.

If you regularly watched the NFL over the last 15- years, you would have seen Frank Gore stretching defenses and making epic runs. He attended one Superbowl and has the rexord-setting career that is extremely memorable.

Frank's work as a running back at his age is impressive. He lasted in the position for 15-year professionally, and was skilled at slipping past defenders. Aside from his prestigious career, he took a bout in professional boxing and philanthropy as well. Hats off to Frank Gore, and wishing him a healthy and happy retirement.
