Among all the sports activity, i can only consider badminton as the sport that i'm 'okay' with because it can least likely give people injury. I never consider myself as a sporty person. But when given the opportunity to play sports, i'm always up for the challenge.
I was so excited when our office announce that we will have a sports fest activity and that badminton is our chosen sport. Supposedly, this activity was planned months ago but due to the unavailability of the venue, it was pushed to a later date which finally happened recently.
We were grouped into 4 teams (red, yellow, blue, and green) that will compete with each other. Through draw by lots, I was part of the green team. There are 4 games in total and each game is for 15 minutes.
I'm not so confident with playing badminton at first because i haven't played since high school. As competitive as i am, i told myself that i will do my best and just give my all. Its amazing how our mind works once we command it to do something. I notice i had a better performance in the game and we finished 2nd place! The game was really intense that i've never sweat this much before.
After we finished playing, we had lunch at Trillis.
It was past 12 noon and we were so hungry already. I ate 2 cups of rice, 1 pork belly, and mango float for dessert. Good thing the restaurant have unlimited rice.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
