It's time for one of my favorite golf tournaments of the year - the PLayers Championship at TPC Sawgrass!
The tournament tees off on Thursday and 4 rounds through Sunday. Many of the world's top golfers will be in the field, including world number 1, Dustin Johnson. Look for hot players Schauffele, Cantlay and Hovland to do well. No Tiger or Phil in the field, but fan favorite DeChambeau looks to bring some excitement with his long drives.
The signature hole at TPC Sawgrass is the par 3 17th with the island green - the nerves and wind can really mess with the players and make for an interesting hole! Certainly one of my favorites on tour, up there with the stadium hole at the Phoenix Open.
