Somehow, the ability to cause mayhem and inflict pain on others is something we have as humans. It is our existential gift from our maker, but that doesn't mean we have to go around, messing people up and beating the crap out of anyone we cross paths with.
Look at it this way;
Being capable of inflicting pain on people isn't a virtue except if we are capable of having it under control. That self-control is what I rate highly and it's very easy to notice that there is high civility whenever people learn to control the violent side of their being.
However, the reverse is the case for someone or a group of people who explore their violent side without mastering the act of self-control. People like that can walk on the street and threaten just anyone because they feel they have the ability to do so.
With that level of loose control of one's violent side, it is not uncommon to come across people in society who are ready to go above and beyond to display violence even when the situation at hand doesn't call for any violence.

De alguna manera, la capacidad de causar caos e infligir dolor a otros es algo que tenemos como humanos. Es nuestro regalo existencial de nuestro creador, pero eso no significa que tengamos que ir por ahí, arruinando a la gente y golpeando a cualquiera con el que nos crucemos.
Míralo de esta manera;
Ser capaz de infligir dolor a las personas no es una virtud excepto si somos capaces de tenerlo bajo control. Ese autocontrol es lo que califico mucho y es muy fácil notar que hay una gran cortesía cada vez que las personas aprenden a controlar el lado violento de su ser.
Sin embargo, lo contrario es el caso de alguien o un grupo de personas que exploran su lado violento sin dominar el acto de autocontrol. Gente así puede andar por la calle y amenazar a cualquiera porque se siente capaz de hacerlo.
Con ese nivel de control suelto del lado violento de uno, no es raro encontrarse con personas en la sociedad que están dispuestas a ir más allá para mostrar violencia, incluso cuando la situación actual no requiere ningún tipo de violencia.
