Life Study is the best!
I've heard my lecturer say it so many time how important life/live studies are but then, it's always easier to work with photographers. Sincerely, aside the fact that live study is quite expensive, it helps the artist to see more than the just the viewers could see.
So yesterday, myself and some fellow artists who are my course mates, we decided to make a life study of one of us and it was really interesting. As usual, I did my crucial study on light and shade and paid little attention to detailing the figure but all the same, it was a successful study for me!
