The central suffix of biology states that the information (gene) of making a specific protein is stored in the messenger RNA molecule. And messenger RNA is made from DNA. DNA is made by copying another DNA molecule. But to perform this replication process, some enzymes are needed, all of which are proteins.
So it is seen that protein is made from DNA and again protein is needed to make DNA. A question naturally arises, then which of the following is made of DNA or protein?
জীববিজ্ঞানের কেন্দ্রীয় প্রত্যয় বলে যে এক একটা নির্দিষ্ট প্রোটিন তৈরির তথ্য(জিন) সংরক্ষিত থাকে মেসেঞ্জার আরএনএ অণুতে। আর মেসেঞ্জার আরএনএ তৈরি হয়ে থাকে ডিএনএ থেকে। ডিএনএ তৈরি হয় আরেকটা ডিএনএ অণুকে কপি করে অনুলিপন প্রক্রিয়ায়। কিন্তু এই অনুলিপন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পাদন এর জন্যে দরকার হয় কতিপয় এনজাইম এর যেগুলো কিনা সবগুলোই প্রোটিন।
সুতরাং দেখা যায় প্রোটিন তৈরি হয় ডিএনএ থেকে আবার ডিএনএ তৈরি করতে দরকার হয় প্রোটিন এর। একটা প্রশ্ন স্বভাবতই জাগে তাহলে কোনটা আগে তৈরি হয়েছে ডিএনএ নাকি প্রোটিন?
