My Daughter on her fist day of school!

in schooldays •  last year

The first day of school is absolutely one of the most important days of the year. It's the day you set the tone for your classroom for the entire year.

•That day is finally here. The first day of school. And now that it’s arrived I know that you’re ready to start your brand new adventure. I’m just not sure that I am.

As we got ready in the morning there were so many things I wanted to say to you and so many things I wanted you to know.

1.As I shook you gently awake, I wanted to tell you that I’d miss you today. That I’d miss holding your hand as we walked along together to the shop or to feed the ducks. I wanted to tell you that part of me doesn’t want our lives to change and doesn’t want to let you go.

2.As I helped you dress in your new pinafore, I wanted to tell you how big you’ve become and how grown up you looked in your first school uniform. I still remember the day we brought you home from the hospital, this tiny little bundle asleep in your car seat. And in the blink of an eye you’ve become this beautiful young girl standing in front of me, ready to start a new chapter.

3.As I helped you pack your school bag I wanted to tell you that I know you’ll make friends. You’re kind and funny and loyal and my favourite person in the world. But I know you’re also shy and quiet in new situations. And that’s OK. You’ll find your way, my love, even if everyone else seems to be confident and chatty and to have tons of friends already. Just be you. That’s enough. And you’ll find friends who will be lucky to know you like I do.

•The School Rules was very strict because only the child/children will be able to enter in the school gate..the parents are not allowed to enter, at first I fell so worried with it because I had so many what if's questions comes into my mind.
*What if she will cry!
*What if she will feel shy or nervous!
*What if she will fall from the stairs going to their classroom!
*What if she doesn't have a friend in the classroom!
(As a Mama I think that's normal for us to think that kind of what if's)
•But what can I do? Thats the School Rules and Policies, Parents are agreed with it during the Orientation.

•After the flag ceremony we're so glad that the school gate was open and the Principal told us that we can enter the school and go to the school gym so that we can hear the welcome address of the Homeroom Teachers and also to the School Principal.

•And look! I'm not expecting that the Bestfriend of my daughter in her Daycare was also her classmate..I feel so relieved and thankful.. I don't have to worry her in the classroom because her bestfriend was there!

•We took selfie after! And you know what? I'm very shocked of what my daughter's told me during their class😁
*She said they make drawings on their paper and they are playing in the entire time until they are dismissed!
And she said she's happy and enjoyed because she had her bestfriend and they had a new circle of friends.
I'm so glad to hear! I just smile and think that I don't have to worry anymore!

*Have A Wonderful Thursday To All Of Us!🤗😍
