How to go to Simala via Commute
It will take 1 hr 30 min (43.1 km)
via Cebu South Rd/Natalio B. Bacalso Street National Hi-way and Natalio B. Bacalso Street National Hi-way. (if you are with in Cebu City area)
You need to take a bus going to south of Cebu just make sure you take the route going to Sibonga or any buses going to south with route via Bato - Oslob (some buses going to south had different route going to Barili so make sure you are going to the right direction)
Its been awhile since i visited this shrine and there were so many changes both positive and negative aspects. I like it more today when it comes to its beautification but one of the most visible changes i notice was the chaos of the business side outside the shrine it surrounded with all kinds of business establishments from restaurants to small scale business which for me losses if essence of sanctity and solemnity.
