Here are some of the things we found this week, it isn't a whole lot but it's some simple things. We have found a lot of aluminum cans, an empty fish tank, along with a chair. We were lucky this week, a lot of people were throwing away some broken TVs so we took the time to bring them back to the house. There is still more to do over the weekend, and maybe tomorrow we may head over to the recycling center to sell what we've got.
I'm not expecting much with the aluminum cans, probably $2-$4. We do have a lot of electrical components and some other steel/iron objects. Most of the weight will come from steel and similar metals. All the copper/brass looking items we'll keep.
This is really my first time scrapping as an adult, so this is really just a learning experience for me and my niece. Hopefully, we can find some more worthwhile things out here.
I just saw a video on YouTube where somebody made about 3 1/2 thousand pounds and one thrift store haul
