Today, I told a little colleague about the Little Yueyue incident that had caused a stir in the country many years ago.
The reason is that when we went out to have dinner together, my young colleague in 1998 was in a hurry to cross the road and did not observe the road conditions properly. I'm gonna slow down, she said, and with all these people in broad daylight, a car can hit me?
So I asked her if she knew about the Little Yueyue incident in 2011. She did not know. So I told her that there was a 2-year-old girl who was run over by a car when she was playing outside that year. Later, she was run over by a second car. Within 7 minutes, 18 passers-by passed by the scene of the accident, but all chose to ignore her and leave.
I remember when I was at school, we had a big discussion in the dorm, and everyone thought it was amazing. A fresh life is in front of us, how can 18 passers-by do nothing? No matter how scared, according to basic common sense, should first move the child to the side of the road and call emergency services ah!
The younger colleague said, "It's scary. There are so many people who are blind." I said: "So, their own safety or to own control, don't put on others." I think it's still worth thinking about today. If the heart is no longer cold, the ultimate benefit must be our own!
今天给一个小同事讲述了多年前曾经轰动全国的小悦悦事件。
起因是我们一起外出吃饭时，98年小同事着急过马路，不好好观察路况。我说慢点，她说光天化日之下这么多人，车还能撞我？
于是我问她知不知道2011年的小悦悦事件？她果然不知道。于是我告诉她，那年有个两岁的女童，在外玩耍时被车撞倒碾压，后来又被第二辆车碾压，7分钟内，18名路人路过事故现场但都选择视而不见，漠然而去，最后一名拾荒阿姨上前施以援手，最终女童伤势过重不幸身亡。
我记得当时我还在学校，我们宿舍展开了大讨论，大家都觉得太不可思议。一条鲜活的生命就在眼前，18个路人怎么能做到无动于衷？再怎么害怕，按照基本常识，也该先把孩子移到路边然后拨打急救电话啊！
小同事说道：“挺可怕的。那么多人，竟然都视而不见。”我说：“所以，自己的安全还是要自己掌控，不要寄托在别人身上。”我觉得时至今日，这件事仍然值得人们思考。如果人心不再冷漠，最终受益的一定是我们自己！
