One of the things that I enjoy the most in this life, are sweets, candies, trinkets. Even though I know that many of them are not healthy, I cannot deny that I love them, I like to eat them, get to know them and compare them. Perhaps this habit is from a long time ago, because in my country, Venezuela, the best candies in the world were made at my discretion, for example: Toronto, Chocomenta, Vaca Vieja, Papaúpa, Tabaquito, Cocossete, Sussy, Samba, CriCri, Pirulín and so many others that I don't remember; Lots of good sweets, many of which don't exist anymore.
Una de las cosas que más disfruto en esta vida, son los dulces, caramelos, chucherías. Aún cuando sé que muchos de ellos no son saludables, no puedo negar que me encantan, me gusta comerlos, conocerlos y compararlos. Quizás este hábito es de hace tiempo, pues en mi país, Venezuela, se hacían a mi criterio, las mejores golosinas del mundo, por ejemplo: Toronto, Chocomenta, Vaca Vieja, Papaúpa, Tabaquito, Cocossete, Sussy, Samba, CriCri, Pirulín y tantos otros que no recuerdo; montones de buenos dulces, muchos de los cuales ya no existen más.
That's why it was, that last Saturday, when they gave me this bag of candies, called Choco Snacks, from Bianchi; I felt super excited, because I thought they would be as good as others of the same brand that I had already eaten, but those were ice cream and strawberry flavor; so I set about opening the little bag and discovering what was inside.
Por eso fue, que el sábado pasado, cuando me obsequiaron esta bolsa de caramelos, llamada Choco Snacks, de Bianchi; me sentí súper emocionada, pues pensé que serían tan buenos como otros de la misma marca que ya había comido, pero aquellos eran sabor a mantecado y fresa; así pues, que me dispuse a abrir la pequeña bolsa y descubrir lo que había adentro.
But when I opened it… Oh disappointment!, they were not what I expected: First, the shape was strange, crushed, amorphous, what's more, I thought they had melted, however, when I took a look at the bag, I saw that they had not been damaged, but that they were like that. Second, they turned out to be very few! Perhaps because of the size that is comparatively larger than the ones I ate before, it would be barely 15 candies. Third, the taste. I thought that the chocolate flavor would be more intense, but mistake, it was not like that, it was a faint chocolate flavor that was diluted in a sea of vanila. All in all, they were some candies given as gifts, and as the saying goes: “You don't look at the tusk of a gift horse.”
Pero al abrirla…¡Oh decepción!, no eran lo que esperaba: Primero, la forma era extraña, aplastados, amorfos, es más, pensé que se habían derretido, sin embargo, al darle un vistazo a la bolsa, ví que no se habían dañado, sino que eran así. Segundo, ¡resultaron siendo muy poquitos!, quizás por el tamaño que comparativamente es más grande que los que comí anteriormente, serían escasamente 15 caramelos. Tercero, el sabor. Yo pensaba que el sabor del chocolate sería más intenso, pero error, no fue así, fue un tenue sabor achocolatado que se diluía en un mar de mantecado. Total, fueron unos caramelos regalados, y como dice el dicho: “A caballo regalado, no se le mira el colmillo.”
