Since I have craved for all these but I couldn't eat those because I was damn broke, on that faithful day I emptied my account and decided to eat all that with that smirk "if I perish I perish" thinking I would feel satisfied after that.
Yes I felt satisfied and on top of the world at that moment to the point of purging but then when I woke up the next day everything was gone out of my belly and I felt so famished, like the shawarma, chicken... It was all gone and I felt like I had not eaten in ages.
That got me pondering, nothing really satisfies, not money, no matter how much you have you will still want more.
Not food, no matter how much food you eat, you will still be hungry.
Not s3x, no matter how long you do it, you will still be horny next time.
Not knowledge, the more you know the more you want to know.
Only God can satisfy you, when you are right with God you feel a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. So why prioritize things that can't satisfy us over the One that can satisfy us.
Yes, those things are pleasurable and necessary for a good living, but God should be our first priority because after this life none of those things will matter, the only thing that will matter is the salvation of your soul, so why trying to satisfy the flesh when your soul is thirsty.
Only God can satisfy your soul, seek ye first the kingdom of God and everything else will be added unto thee.
I like how you started this and I like the direction you headed in addition to the final conclusion of the whole message. We humans are insatiable. That's a fact.
We need to be mindful of what we ask for at a times. We all need to set our priorities straight and stick by it.

I totally agree with you on this. And to add, there's something often talked about to Christians and everyone as a matter of fact; sharing. When we share we perform utmost acts of virtue. For me, in sharing actually comes satisfaction from the possessions we own. Even Christ said it in words of scripture, to share with and love one another. When we share, God leads us to the haven we desire.
