I needed someone to talk to, thank God for treasure in earthen vessels, I for choke o🤣🤣.
To make matters worse, it was a Saturday night and I'd already said to myself I won't go to church because I had cried so much that my eyes were swollen.
I so much needed God to answer me, it was scary!
Sunday morning I was already up and started dressing up for church (I guess Holy Spirit quickened me because I no wan go 🤣🤣) when I was done dressing the devil whispered "don't you think people would ask you what happened to you, you look so gloomy o, you better pull your dress and lay down"
You guessed right, I silenced the voice and stepped out immediately. While walking down I muttered words to God telling him to just give me an answer, search my heart, give light to my dark soul and help me. That was it!
I was already late so no rush. I was not in the mood anyway. I stepped into the church and joined preprayer (prayer for workers) and right from there, the Lord started addressing me. He addressed me in Sunday school, praise worship, prayer session and sermon.
Trust me now, a cry cry baby like me...I was teary throughout and seated right there in my chair I released everything to God. I let go of what I held on to and immediately after that, peace was restored, and joy overflowed in my heart.
I was privileged to say the bbenediction, so I stepped on the podium smiling, shared my testimony and said the grace.
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮?
One of God's ways of reaching out to us as His children is through the gathering of the saints. It's no accident that we were admonished never to forsake the gathering. Heb 10:25
Are you happy and blessed? Joyful and peaceful? Sorrowful and rejected? Downcasted and pressed on all sides? Forsaken and forgotten? Sick or healthy? Faithless or hopeful? The gathering of the brethren is where you should be at every given opportunity because much more is available for you.
You'll find strength for your weary soul and you'll grow from strength to strength as long as your heart is open to receive and you're attentive to hear. God speaks!
If you have forsaken the gathering of the brethren, find your way back because no lone warrior can survive the attack of the one who only comes to kill, steal and destroy.
You will always need the body,never forsake it
