Visit to Vrelo Bosne - Spring of river Bosna

Hello everyone.
Last weekend my brother come to visit me so we decide to visit spring of river Bosna. Weather was lovely so it was perfect time for a walk. Spring of river Bosna is located in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, under mountain Igman. There are two way to come to the spring. One is by car and other via Velika Aleja by foot. Velika Aleja is walking promenade that leads to spring. There are lines along promenade. It took us around 35-40 minutes to come to the Spring of the river. There are also horse carriages that you can rent and enjoy ride along Velika Aleja.
Spring of the river Bosna is nature park with many springs and lots of water. There are many pathways and wooden bridges in the park. It is such calm and relaxing place. It is right place to be during hot summer days.
Also there are couple swan houses in the park .

After entering park this is one of many wooden bridges in the park. In the back you can see couple sitting huts. In the back is entrance to the park.

In the park you will see small water streams like these ones.

On this part there is a lot of crocus flowers.

This is one of the bigger water ponds. In the middle there is small island with swan house. It is always nice to see swans swimming around. You can see ducks as well.

There are lot of different path ways you can take.

I think this is biggest spring of the river. Here you can see swan couple swimming.

Lovely swan couple. Couple years back there are always swans on this spot.

Down the river on the right there is one more swan. Here as well there is small house on the island in the middle of the water pond. Previous years I dont remember seeing this swan house here. It is nice to see 3 swan couples in the water park.

There is a lot of water here. It is really refreshing place. Water always running and such nice surrounding. You can see many wooden bridges.

There are many banks where you can sit and enjoy. In the back you can see more and wider water flowing. All water streams and spring of river Bosna combine and stream becomes bigger.

Velika Aleja again and time to go back.

We had really good time. If you come to Sarajevo Spring of river Bosna or Vrelo Bosne is must see place.
