Visit to Štrbački Buk waterfall, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Hello everyone.
Last summer I visited Štrbački Buk waterfall. Štrbački Buk is very beautiful waterfall on the river Una.
River Una itself is gem of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe. If you visit Bihac and beautiful river Una then you must
visit Štrbački Buk as well.
Štrbački Buk is 25 meters high waterfall. Waterfall is part of Nacionalni park Una. Each year there International Una Regatta is held and waterfall Štrbački Buk is part of the route.

And here we are. First look at river Una.

River Una is clean and beautiful river. There is always a lot of water.

Waterfall is in this direction.

We are getting closer. It looks like river is preparing for the jump.

There are wooden pathways along the river and waterfall.

Nacionalni park Una ( National Park Una) is established in 2008 . Goal of park is to protect river Una and its tributaries Unac and Krka. Its protection zone is 198 km squared and it is largest National Park of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We are here. You can see part of the waterfall.

And there it is. Štrbački Buk waterfall.

Waterfall is very beautiful.

There is water everywhere. There are more smaller waterfalls down the river.

There are different view points from where you can see the waterfalls and river. There are wooden platforms along the pathway.

Down the river are smaller waterfalls. You can see people in the boat preparing to go over the waterfall.
River Una is very good place for rafting. Each year International Una regata is held on river Una. Its route passes through here and people from all over the world come and participate. It last for couple days and has couple stops.
One of the stops is Štrbački buk waterfall. This year was 48th Una regata.

You can see how water is coming from everywhere. It goes under the wooden pathways and continues to the river.

There is a wooden water mill along wooden pathway.

I think these are older grinding stones.

Time to go.

We had wonderful time here. It was worth visiting. Štrbački Buk is beautiful and this place is nice and enjoyable.
