Visit to mountain Trebević, Sarajevo , Bosnia and Herzegovina

Hello everyone.
Eight days ago and my friend visited mountain Trebević. Our first agreement was coffee somewhere in city but when we met my friend said that we are going to Trebević. When there is opportunity to go to mountain Trebević you have to say yes. Weather was nice and sunny. In city it was a bit hot but mountain was very nice for a walk.
We used Trebevićka žičara (Cable Car).
Trebevićka žičara or Cable Car is 2200 meters long and it takes about 7 or 8 minutes to reach to the top. Ride is very nice with beautiful view of city Sarajevo.

Here on the mountain there is Coffee place. After arriving we went there. It has terrace with beautiful view of city Sarajevo.

14th Winter Olympic games were held in Sarajevo in 1984.

Time to go back.

This is cabin that was used when Trebevićka žičara was first built. It can take 4 or 5 person and todays cabin can take up to 10 person. Trebevićka žičara was put in use in April of 1959. It worked until 1992. It was renovated and reopened in 2018.
