Hello everyone.
When flower season starts there are many flowers around. Flowers are very beautiful to see. Many different shapes, sizes and colors.
For insects they are much more. They are feeding grounds. With pollen and nectar. You can see and hear Bees during summer on flowers visiting one after another. Maybe they first come to mind when we think of food, flowers and insects.
Besides them other insects come to gather food as well. Also there are spiders that wait on the flowers for these insects to come and become their food. So there is quite a lot happening on the beautiful flowers beside their beauty.
Here while on vacation last year I took some photos of interesting insects on these flowers. These photos were taken on mountain Dajti near Tirana.
I think these are type of flies. There were couple of them on this flower.
Also on same type of flower there was big fly. Looks like nectar isfood for many.
