in r2cornell •  10 months ago

Hello everyone.
This morning while in garden I went to check grape. And when I got close to the grape there was a spider web with fly in it. I think it just got caught just before I got close.
And then spider come to the middle of the web and started to wrap its prey.
Beautiful spider.
This is European Garden Spider - Araneus diadematus.
Previously I managed to take photos of European Garden Spider but this one was biggest so far.
Since the spider was busy with its prey I took my time and took many photos.
