The contribution of education to economicc growth can not be overemphasized, there are many reasons why education is important, this article focuses on its contribution to
economic growth and outcomes. Education ‘can be view as the process of aquiring knowledge, through education we are able to read and write. In general, education—as a critical
component of a country’s human capital—increases the efficiency of each individual worker and
helps economies to move up the value chain beyond manual tasks or simple production
processes. Human capital has long been considered the most distinctive feature of
the economic system and further work has proven the impact of education on productivity growth
empirically.

Education is a leading determinant of economic growth, employment, and earnings. Ignoring the
economic dimension of education would endanger the prosperity of future generations, with
widespread repercussions for poverty, social exclusion, and sustainability of social security
systems. For every US$1 spent on education, as much as US$10 to US$15
can be generated in economic growth.
How education contribute to economic growth.

  1. Education provides a foundation for development, the groundwork on which much of our economic and social well being is built. It is the key to increasing economic efficiency and social consistency. By increasing the value and efficiency of their labor, it helps to raise the poor from poverty.
  2. The role of education in poverty reduction is huge. Some advantages of education are: it boosts economic growth and increases the GDP of a country. It even reduces infant mortality rate, increases human life expectancy. Education is an important investment in a country as there are huge benefits.
  3. Education is one of the primary resources of change; its role is to help people acquire knowledge and skills, which can, in turn, be used to acquire jobs. Households with educated people stand a better chance of lifting themselves out of poor living conditions than households without educated people in them.

This is so true.
It's just sad how school owners are mostly after profit and the government pays little attention to teachers.
Education is a key factor and I do and will do everything I can to help educate the coming generations. Teaching them also its importance.
