Here is a wonderful rose, in which I took the photograph a couple of years ago. I am not sure if I used this particular photo anywhere. I usually code my photographs when I use them, and this one was the original photograph. As with a lot of my photographs I have multiple photos of the same or similar flower. I must say this blend of bright colors are very cheerful.

Aquí hay una rosa maravillosa, en la que tomé la fotografía hace un par de años. No estoy seguro de si he utilizado esta foto en particular en algún lugar. Normalmente codifico mis fotografías cuando las uso, y ésta era la fotografía original. Como ocurre con muchas de mis fotografías, tengo varias fotos de la misma flor o de una similar. Debo decir que esta mezcla de colores brillantes es muy alegre.

I am very much behind schedule in getting this published. I had a lot of work to do for my care of the two disabled ladies. Then I got hit with the residual impact of Covid. I still experience times of fatigue and brain fog. When that happens I can not get as much done as I usually do. I had this started, but could not get much done at a time. I am feeling better and things are flowing.

Llevo mucho retraso en la publicación de esto. Tuve mucho trabajo para cuidar a las dos señoras discapacitadas. Luego me golpeó el impacto residual del Covid. Todavía experimento momentos de fatiga y niebla cerebral. Cuando eso ocurre no puedo hacer tanto como suelo hacer. Ya había empezado con esto, pero no podía hacer mucho a la vez. When I start writing the words have to flow on their own accord. I cannot force them. I usually do not know what i am going to write about until I start writing. I may have a general idea, but not real specific.

Cuando me pongo a escribir, las palabras tienen que fluir por sí solas. No puedo forzarlas. Normalmente no sé sobre qué voy a escribir hasta que empiezo a hacerlo. Puedo tener una idea general, pero no muy concreta.

Since my last post my main computer "died". The way I was backing up all my data was not working as well as it should have been. I do not trust cloud storage. I had my own cloud storage server but it is no longer supported by the manufacturer. During this mess I found a way to use Dropbox to store my data encrypted. I am still trying to pull all of it together.

Desde mi último post mi ordenador principal "murió". La forma en que estaba respaldando todos mis datos no estaba funcionando tan bien como debería. No confío en el almacenamiento en la nube. Tenía mi propio servidor de almacenamiento en la nube, pero ya no está soportado por el fabricante. Durante este lío encontré una manera de usar Dropbox para almacenar mis datos encriptados. Todavía estoy tratando de poner todo en orden.

In order to get this published before too much more time has gone by I will keep me words shorter and finish publishing it.

I know I have shared this photograph in some form in a number of places. It is a photograph of a bull buffalo (American Bison) that I took a couple of years ago. I used a telephoto lens that I do not always use. I need to start using it again for wildlife. In this case there is no way I would ever get this close to such a large animal, with an attitude.

Sé que he compartido esta fotografía de alguna forma en varios lugares. Es una fotografía de un búfalo macho (bisonte americano) que tomé hace un par de años. Utilicé un teleobjetivo que no siempre uso. Tengo que empezar a usarlo de nuevo para la vida silvestre. En este caso no hay manera de que me acerque tanto a un animal tan grande y con actitud.

I am not sure what flower this next one is. As I was selecting photographs for this publication I was drawn to bright colors. I guess I am trying to lift my out of the fatigue I fall into from time to time (since Covid). This pink is surely a mood lifter.

No estoy seguro de qué flor es la siguiente. Al seleccionar las fotografías para esta publicación, me han atraído los colores vivos. Supongo que estoy tratando de salir de la fatiga en la que caigo de vez en cuando (desde Covid). Este rosa es sin duda un levantador de ánimo.

Here is another another flower that I am not sure of the variety. It may not be one of the best photographs I have taken, although it looks like the lower half of the flower is what I was trying to bring out the color pattern. Another bright cheerful flower.

I have grown a couple of types of Dahlias in containers. This was one of the last ones I had. It grew for quite a few years. They do not winter over where I live, so I would use containers and bring the whole thing into the garage for the winter. I will need to look into getting some more planted next spring. i will let the color blend speak for itself.

He cultivado un par de tipos de dalias en contenedores. Esta fue una de las últimas que tuve. Creció durante bastantes años. No pasan el invierno donde yo vivo, así que utilizaba contenedores y llevaba todo al garaje para el invierno. Tendré que buscar la forma de plantar algunas más la próxima primavera. In my photography I try to bring out hidden beauty that many miss, and share the wonder I experience when I see a flower. Thank you for sharing these moments with me. I am quite behind schedule in getting this published. Besides my hectic life, I still have moments of brain fog and fatigue, secondary to Covid. When it hits me at least that day I am not able to do a much. Sometimes it lasts a couple of days.

En mi fotografía intento sacar a la luz la belleza oculta que muchos pasan por alto, y compartir la maravilla que experimento cuando veo una flor. Estoy bastante atrasado en publicar esto. Además de mi vida agitada, todavía tengo momentos de niebla mental y fatiga, secundarios al Covid. Cuando me golpea al menos ese día no soy capaz de hacer mucho. A veces dura un par de días.

I normally use a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for most photographs, except where noted. I do take some photographs with my Samsung Note 9 smart phone and include them from time to time. The only editing I do on my photographs is some cropping to center the photo, or to bring it closer to the viewer.

Normalmente utilizo una Canon EOS Rebel T5 para la mayoría de las fotografías, excepto cuando se indica. También tomo algunas fotografías con mi teléfono inteligente Samsung Note 9 y las incluyo de vez en cuando. La única edición que hago en mis fotografías es algún recorte para centrar la foto, o para acercarla al espectador.
