CONCLUSION

This brings us to the end of our 35rd Healing Report. There are so many quality posts curated this week that it was difficult to choose the ones for the report. I can only say "great job everyone".

Esto nos lleva al final de nuestro Informe #35 de curación. Hay tantas publicaciones de calidad curadas esta semana que fue difícil elegir las del informe. Sólo puedo decir "gran trabajo para todos".

Thank you for collating all the wonderful posts on blurt. You're doing great work showcasing the exceptional content that our fellow Blurt users produce day in and day out.

Hi @r2cornell, I noticed that ~33% of your possible witness votes have been used. Presently, you've used 10/30 of your total possible votes. You still have 20 witness votes left for selection at your leisure.

Psssst I have a secret to tell you. All the witnesses you've voted for are currently active. Beautiful work

I'd love to have your witness vote. Each vote counts and doesn't cost you a thing! Keep up the hard work

Thank you with regards to the post. My curators work hard from their curating to doing these reports for me. Not to mention all the steps in-between.

With regards to my witness votes a few days ago I withdrew witness votes for anyone involved in or supporting the anarchist that seem determined to destroy Blurt. I find this behavior juvenile and serving no purpose.

Then came the call for raising fees. I feel this is harmful to the small average user and/or newcomers. The initial call for raising fees was to combat the anarchist. Now some are trying to point the finger at spammers and vote farmers, instead of the original reason. I voiced my concern and do not expect any changes. Those who raised their fees will probably stick to those high rates.

Like I experienced on the other two platforms those in control are basically ignoring the impact on the small user or newcomer who is trying to make a go of it here on Blurt. They hope to fix one problem by hitting the rest of us with high fees. I may be able to handle absorbing theses fees, but it is going to be difficult for others. Once I found those that have raised their fees (Witnesses) I started pulling my witness votes from any who have raised them significantly. That is why so few of the allocated witness votes are used. It will probably hurt my curation project (which will only hurt my followers), yet very few of these witnesses support it. Maybe some users will stop using my tag R2cornell and I won't stay in the top 3. So be it. There is a time to take a stand and when you realize no one seems to care about the impact high fees will have, indicating basically they will figure a way to make do or they can leave.

I recently started posting personal blogs again after a two year sabbatical. I was excited about getting back to my own photography and sharing them. I have only completed a few posts. I had been working on another, but not the excitement I had is gone.

Now to your request for support as a Witness I see your fees are very reasonable. I will support you in this endeavor, but from here on I am monitoring what is going on with fees, as well as any of the negative anarchist crap. I am not suggesting anything in regards to you but I think all users should monitor the witnesses they vote for. How users vote is up to them, but they need to understand the process and understand it.

Thank you for reading my long dissertation. The fee for this comment will be interesting (2.02 Blurt)
