These individuals show us how to navigate our humanity while in pursuit of Godly impact. Though they serve as good examples, the ultimate influencer is Jesus Himself, who showed us how to use our voice, reach, and abilities to proclaim a transformative experience with a righteous God. Through His life, we find two influencer strategies that should serve as a blueprint:
- Choose a posture of humility before others
In business, influencer marketing is powerful because of its implied hierarchy. It says that the most popular, beautiful, and gifted people are somehow more impactful than others, and as such, their followers should do whatever they say. Brands pay a lot of money for this kind of power. When we look at Jesus's example on earth, we see the opposite. When we consider Christ's humility before others and God, it is clear that being a Godly influencer will require courage to be different. As we strive to model purpose-driven impact, may we be humble but courageous enough to maintain that standard...
