I found a very silent but compassionate woman in the Bible. I'm sure some of us if not most of us have not even taken note of her before.
The only word used in defining her character in a certain situation was all that was said about her, her name was not even told, she's not even a popular character of the scriptures. The scripture says " she had compassion " are you COMPASSIONATE?
The word compassion means "Deep awareness of the suffering of another, coupled with the wish to relieve it." Are you compassionate?
Scattered around the scriptures are moments where Jesus had compassion for the people. Compassion is an attribute of Jesus while on earth, if he modelled then we should follow suit.
Regardless of who you are and where you are, be COMPASSIONATE. Pharaoh's daughter modelled this character and we should learn from her. She didn't abuse her authority nor was she blind to the need of others (Exodus 2:5-9).
Add compassion to your bag of virtue. Be Better!
Have you noticed pharaoh's daughter before? Did you learn something? What's your take-home?
