Everyone of us agreed to ask the man to stop, which he eventually did, threatening that he is only giving us 5mins, none of us got down, we were all seated and calling the road hawkers to get what we wanted.
For me, I didn't intend buying anything, but this young lady came to advertise ( Wàrà) to me. I must admit that the girl had a very sweet mouth.
I told the lady that I'm only with 1000 naira and she said there's no problem that she has change .
So I bought the one worth #200, expecting her to give me #800, but she gave me #700 instead, saying she didn't have #100, suggesting that I take #100 wàrà again.
I told her that I can't, as I'm on budget.
She refused to take back her goods, and she has already given me the #700 change, I was just waiting for her to give me #100 so I can give her the #1000 .
We were still on it when the driver angrily drove off and I've still not given her the #1000 .
I started shouting that the man should please wait for me to give the girl her money but he refused and said that was her loss.
I felt uncomfortable with her money still with me, but the driver insisted that he won't turn back. Everyone in the bus pleaded with this man, but he refused.
I suddenly told him that I'd like to alight, that I need to returned back to give her money and he finally stopped and dropped me , at first he doesn't want to give me change he was like that's my loss too as everyone was abusing him , he gave me the change that can't take me to half of where I am going.
I felt so cheated because I don't want to cheat another person , I was already soaked with tears as I was looking for a bike to take me , not knowing that , she has took a bike to chase after our bus infact she has went ahead of the bus to stop them in the front .
I didn't know how that goes but what I know was that, they all came back to where I was standing.
Seeing the lady from afar , her face was full of smile , she was so happy and really surprised that I can dropped because of her , the driver was looking at me as one strong head lady , all what he could said was that he regretted carrying me that day as i have really ruined his plans, others passengers was giving me different types of praises but seriously , I was not move by it all because I was really hurt , I've already wished the driver bad luck before he came to pick me back .
I found it difficult to forgive the driver as his first wicked act and selfishness cost me pain even he has later done the right thing at a very late time .
I couldn't even share it to anyone even not to my closet friend , i was only saying, my journey was fine to anyone that asked about it.
I was hurt but I don't want to believe that like i was playing strong head with myself too...🤩 .
I was heal after I sat myself down and agreed that I was hurt.
I pray for myself and for the man .
I forgave and let go of him in my heart .
This is a very simple way of getting healing to yourself.
You know how hurt you are; but you don't want to feel victim, you're causing yourself a serious pain by doing this.
It's okay to cry it out !
Cry if you it's cause you that.
Sit yourself down and agree that you're hurt.
Share it with someone you can trust
Pray for yourself and the person that hurts you by this you will be heal.
Most importantly forgive yourself and your offender.
Take away every blame from your heart .
Pour your heart to the father (GOD).
God can carry our burdens, lift the weight off our hearts, and give us peace that passes human understanding.
