CELEBRATING 70K BLURT POWER

Hi Blurtians,

It has been often said that "The journey of a thousand mile, begin with a single step"

Ecclesiastes 9.11: I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all

And more also, you will agree with me that Rome wasn't build in a day. As I celebrate myself hitting the 70k BP in less than 2 years is an unimaginable feast for me.

As I have always share in all of my post, celebrating each level. I have always share my experience how I was inspired by someone blurt power back then when I was still at 1000k BP (smile).

My aim was to hit the 12k blurt power just as she was, but i later discovered that within few months i was able to hit that target and i dare myself to continue in the race.

First I was scared that I would not make it this far, due to my experience in the mother chain like hive and steemit. With many years of blogging going to three years I was able to amaze 900+ hive and steemit power.

I thought same thing would happen here but the story aren't the same. The community has been a wonderful one and very supportive.

On a fateful day, I woke up to check my wallet on blurt and to my amazement, I was surprised to see that I have hit a milestone.

Back to memory lane, I remember many we started the journey together. I must confess it wasn't an easy route but consistency always win. That's my advice to all newbies.

Many have drop and stop blogging, and just a hand spoon of them still on the platform doing their best.

Checking through my rewards and my earning. I discovered that my curation reward for the previous week was around 101.9. That isn't bad, as much as my blurt power increase my curation reward too will increase.

Currently I have won two delegation, I believe that would be a Post for another day.

My author reward as you can see above have increase over time. My previous week author reward was around 1007. All thanks to curators who dime it fit to read and curate my post daily. Sepcial thanks to my friend @drutter, he has been an amazing person.

Please always do well to read his blog, you will be amaze of the value he dishes out.

I also use another tools to confirm what I was seeing on my wallet of 70k bp. I use a tool to check my profile, delegate and delegation and other important info. That's a full information of my profile you can see in the image above.

If you care to check out yours too, you can do that using this link blurtblock.herokuapp. It's very great tools.

In conclusion, I say a big thank you to everyone for your support and help. Love you all. 100k before September this 2024 is possible with everyone support as a gift to celebrate my 2 years of active blogging on blurt.

Thanks buddy! Congratulations. You've hit this milestone in good time. I think you'll get to 100,000 soon!

Thanks buddy, I appreciate. I have been facing electricity challenges currently. That has been making me not to be active as I use to be. Hoping everything gets better soon.

That's frustrating. I imagine it causes problems charging your devices.
What are your current sources of electricity?
Here, it comes directly to the property, sold by the province (British Columbia). Some people have private means of production, like solar, or gas generators, or wind turbines, etc. But most just rely on the provincial power supply, which powers most things in the home. Very few homes have a wood fireplace here today. But I would like one, as a backup source of heating in winter.

Electricity body here was sold to private individual in 2014 and since then private sector has been handling it.

Just of recent everything went from good to worse. Most time when my phone is low I do put it on ultra mood just to save my battery and only for calls alone.

Anyone using generator here are big men are well to do individual due to the high price of fuel to power it. Most families I know have sold their generator to feed themselves and some people have turn their generator into using gas.

Talking about solar, it has become trending thing here with so much people relying on it as their source of power. Solar price too has went through the roof due to the fact that the price of good's and materials that are skyrocketing.

If you had a decent solar setup at your home, would it improve your electricity situation?
