Day 5 of First Test:
The Bangladeshi batsmen came down to bat with 11 runs for three wickets on the previous day, and the Bangladeshi batsmen went down to play the target of 274 runs. Bangladesh kept losing one wicket after another. It didn't seem like anyone even thought about winning the Test, let alone drawing. As if they came to the field to give away their own wicket.
Mushfiq scored 12 runs, Liton scored 16 runs, Yasir Ali scored 26 runs, Mehdi Miraz scored 33 runs, Nazmul Shanto scored 50 runs, Khaled Ahmed scored 51 runs and Taskin Ahmed scored 53 runs. For the team, except for Taskin Ahmed 14 and Nazmul Shanto's team maximum 26 runs, no one could reach double figures. As a result, Bangladesh had to see a shameful loss of 220 runs. Moreover, it is the second lowest in the history of Test cricket in Bangladesh. The previous one was against West Indies for 43 runs.
Bangladesh is the only team that has been all out 12 times under 100 in Test cricket. Second is Pakistan (11 times). Proteas spinners are responsible for this shameful loss. Where Bangladesh played on the pitch of spin, they took only one professional spinner! Where Bangladesh played with three pacers, on the other hand, the Proteas took 3 professional spinners in addition to their 2 pacers.
On behalf of the team, Keshav Maharaj single-handedly destroyed the entire batting lineup of Bangladesh. He took 7 valuable wickets. Another spinner Harmer gave him worthy support. He also took 3 wickets.
Result at the end of the fifth day: South Africa won by 220 runs.

আগের দিনের তিন উইকেটে ১১ রান নিয়ে ব্যাট করতে নামা বাংলাদেশ ২৭৪ রানের টার্গেট এ খেলতে নেমে যেনো উইকেটের মিছিল দিচ্ছিলো বাংলাদেশী ব্যাটসম্যানরা।একের পর এক উইকেট হারাতে থাকে বাংলাদেশ।টেস্ট জেতা তো দূরে থাক ড্র করার চিন্তাও তখন কারোর ভিতর ছিলো বলে মনে হচ্ছিল না।যেনো নিজের উইকেট টুকু বিলিয়ে দেয়ার জন্যেই মাঠে নেমেছিল তারা।
দলীয় ১২ রানে মুশফিক,১৬ রানে লিটন,২৬ রানে ইয়াসির আলী,৩৩ রানে মেহেদী মিরাজ,৫০ রানে নাজমুল শান্ত,৫১ রানে খালেদ আহমেদ আর ৫৩ রানে তাসকিন আহমেদ যেনো নিজেদেরকে বিলিয়ে দিয়ে আসলেন পিচ এ।দলের পক্ষে তাসকিন আহমেদ ১৪ এবং নাজমুল শান্ত দলীয় সর্বোচ্চ ২৬ রান ছাড়া আর কেউ দুই অঙ্কের ঘরেই পৌঁছাতে পারে নি।ফলে ২২০ রানের এক লজ্জাজনক হার দেখতে হলো বাংলাদেশের।তাছাড়া এটি বাংলাদেশের টেস্ট ক্রিকেট ইতিহাসে দ্বিতীয় সর্বনিম্ন।এর আগেরটি ছিলো ওয়েস্টইন্ডিজ এর বিপক্ষে ৪৩ রানের।
বাংলাদেশ একমাত্র দল যারা কিনা টেস্ট ক্রিকেটে একশোর নিচে এই পর্যন্ত ১২ বার অলআউট হয়েছে।দ্বিতীয় আছে পাকিস্তান (১১ বার)।এই লজ্জাজনক হারের পেছনে দায়ী প্রোটিয়াদের স্পিনাররা ই।যেখানে বাংলাদেশ স্পিন এর পিচ এ খেলে তারা কিনা প্রফেশনাল স্পিনার নিলো মাত্র একজন!যেখানে তিন পেসার নিয়ে খেললো বাংলাদেশ ঐদিকে প্রোটিয়ারা তাদের ২ জন পেসার এর পাশাপাশি ৩ জন প্রফেশনাল স্পিনার নিয়েছে দলে।
দলের পক্ষে কেশব মহারাজ একাই ধসিয়ে দিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশের পুরো ব্যাটিং লাইনআপ টাকে।নিয়েছেন ৭ টি মূল্যবান উইকেট।তাকে যোগ্য সঙ্গ দিয়েছেন আরেক স্পিনার হার্মার।তিনিও নিয়েছেন ৩ টি উইকেট।
পঞ্চম দিন শেষে ফলাফল: দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ২২০ রানে জয়ী।
