Day 4 of First Test:
Proteas started the fourth day with 6 runs from the previous day. The opening pair ended with their 48 runs. Ebadat Hossain sent Erui back to jail for just 8 runs. Later Elgar's Pietersen gave a partnership of 68 runs. Later Taskin dismissed Ahmed Elgar for 64 runs after the team scored 116 runs. Later, Mehdi Miraj dismissed Peterson who scored 36 runs for the team's 126 runs. Ebadat Hossain sent Bavuma back to court by just 4 runs in the team's 126 runs. Later Mehdi Miraj dismissed Varene for 6 runs during the team's 148 runs. Mehdi Miraji dismissed Mulder for 11 runs after the team scored 168 runs. After the team's 183 runs, Keshav Maharaj was sent back to Sajghar by just 5 runs. Later Harmer scored 11 runs during the team's 202 runs and Williams was run out for zero runs during 204 runs. After 204 runs, Ebadat Hossain dismissed Olivier for no runs and ended South Africa's innings with 204 runs. As a result, the target for Bangladesh is 274 runs.
In the last part of the day, Bangladesh came to play and were completely defeated by the veteran bowlers. Harmer dismissed opener Sadman Islam for just 4 runs. Later, Maharaj dismissed another opener, Mahmudul Joy, for 4 runs, then again, Maharaj dismissed captain Mominul Haque for 8 runs, for 0 runs. Later, Bangladesh managed to score 11 runs before the end of the fourth day's play. Nazmul Shanto scored 5 runs and Mushfiqur Rahim remained unbeaten with zero runs.
Score at end of fourth day: South Africa 367 & 204 Bangladesh 298 & 11-3.

আগের দিনের ৬ রান নিয়ে চতুর্থ দিন শুরু করে প্রোটিয়ারা।ওপেনিং জুটি শেষ হয় তাদের ৪৮ রানে। ইরুই কে মাত্র ৮ রানে সাজঘরে ফেরান এবাদত হোসেন।পরে এলগার এর পিটারসন মিলে ৬৮ রানের পার্টনারশিপ দেন।পরে দলীয় ১১৬ রানের মাথায় তাসকিন আহমেদ এলগারকে ৬৪ রানে আউট করেন।পরে দলীয় ১২৬ রানের মাথায় ৩৬ রান করা পিটারসন কে আউট করেন মেহেদী মিরাজ।আবার দলীয় ১২৬ রানেই বাভুমাকে মাত্র ৪ রানে সাজঘরে ফেরান এবাদত হোসেন।পরে দলীয় ১৪৮ রানের সময় ভারেনেকে ৬ রানে আউট করেন মেহেদী মিরাজ।আবার দলীয় ১৬৮ রানের মাথায় মাল্ডার কে ১১ রানে আউট করেন মেহেদী মিরাজই।পরে দলীয় ১৮৩ রানের মাথায় কেশব মহারাজকে মাত্র ৫ রানে সাজঘরে ফেরান তাসকিন আহমেদ।পরে দলীয় ২০২ রানের সময় হার্মার ১১ রান করে আর ২০৪ রানের সময় উইলিয়ামস শূন্য রান করে রান আউট হন।পরে ২০৪ রানেই এবাদত হোসেন অলিভিয়ারকে শূন্যে রানে আউট করে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকার ইনিংস শেষ করেন ২০৪ রানে।ফলে বাংলাদেশের জন্যে টার্গেট দাড়ায় ২৭৪ রানের।
দিনের শেষভাগে বাংলাদেশ খেলতে নেমে পুরোপুরি পরাস্ত হয় প্রটিয়ার বোলারদের কাছে।মাত্র ৪ রানেই ওপেনার সাদমান ইসলামকে শূন্যে রানে আউট করেন হার্মার।পরে আরেক ওপেনার মাহমুদুল জয়কে ৪ রানে আউট করেন মহারাজ পরে আবার ৮ রানেই অধিনায়ক মমিনুল হককে শূন্যে রানেই আউট করেন মহারাজ।পরে চতুর্থ দিনের খেলা শেষ হবার আগে বাংলাদেশ ১১ রান করতে পেরেছিল।নাজমুল শান্ত ৫ রান করে এবং মুশফিকুর রহিম শূন্য রান করে অপরাজিত আছেন।
চতুর্থ দিন শেষে স্কোর: দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ৩৬৭ & ২০৪ বাংলাদেশ ২৯৮ & ১১-৩ ।
