Day 3 of First Test:
Bangladesh went into bat with the previous 98 runs. But Taskin Ahmed fell victim to William after 101 runs to add 3 runs to the team. He returned to Sajghar with only 1 run. Later Mahmudul Joy and Liton Das gave a good pair. Their pair stopped at 82 runs. After the team's 183 runs, Liton Das was once again a victim of Williams by scoring 41 runs. Then Yasir was dismissed for 22 runs after the team scored 216 runs due to a misunderstanding between Mahmudul Joy and Yasir Rabbi. Later, Mehdi Miraj and Mahmudul Joy made a partnership of 51 runs, but after the team's 267 runs, Williams returned the team's highest run collector Mahmudul Joy to the bench. Mahmudul Joy got his first century in the third match of his career. He got out after playing an impeccable innings of 137 runs. Later, Khaled Ahmed was dismissed for 294 runs by Olivier without opening the run book. Then Mehdi Miraz Mulder's delivery of 298 runs ended Bangladesh's first innings by getting out for a valuable 29 runs.
Later, South Africa went into bat in the second innings. But due to lack of light and rain, the umpire declared the end of the third day's play after scoring only 6 runs. Both Erway and Elgar remain unbeaten with 3 runs.
Score at the end of the third day: South Africa 367 & 6 and Bangladesh 298.
As a result, South Africa is still ahead of Bangladesh by 75 runs.

আগের ৯৮ রান নিয়ে ব্যাট করতে নামে বাংলাদেশ।কিন্তু দলীয় ৩ রান যোগ করতেই ১০১ রানের মাথায় উইলিয়াম এর শিকার হন তাসকিন আহমেদ।মাত্র ১ রান করেই সাজঘরে ফেরেন তিনি।পরে মাহমুদুল জয় আর লিটন দাস মিলে ভালো একটি জুটি দেন।তাদের জুটি থামে ৮২ রানে।দলীয় ১৮৩ রানের মাথায় আবারও উইলিয়ামস এর শিকার হন লিটন দাস ৪১ রান করে।তারপর মাহমুদুল জয় আর ইয়াসির রাব্বির ভুল বুঝাবুঝিতে দলীয় ২১৬ রানের মাথায় ইয়াসির আউট হন ২২ রান করে।পরে মেহেদী মিরাজ আর মাহমুদুল জয় ৫১ রানের জুটি করলেও দলীয় ২৬৭ রানের মাথায় উইলিয়ামস দলের সর্বোচ্চ রান সংগ্রাহক মাহমুদুল জয়কে সাজঘরে ফেরান।নিজের ক্যারিয়ার এর তৃতীয় ম্যাচেই প্রথম সেঞ্চুরির স্বাদ পায় মাহমুদুল জয়।১৩৭ রানের অনবদ্য এক ইনিংস খেলে আউট হন তিনি।পরে দলীয় ২৯৪ রানে খালেদ আহমেদ আউট হন অলিভিয়ার এর বলে রানের খাতা না খুলেই।এরপর ২৯৮ রানে মেহেদী মিরাজ মুল্ডার এর বলে মূল্যবান ২৯ রান করে আউট হয়ে বাংলাদেশের প্রথম ইনিংস শেষ করেন।
পরে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা দ্বিতীয় ইনিংসে ব্যাটিং এ নামে।কিন্তু আলোর স্বল্পতায় আর বৃষ্টির কারণে মাত্র ৬ রান করার পরই তৃতীয় দিনের খেলার সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা করেন আম্পায়ার। এরওয়ে এবং এলগার উভয়ে ৩ রান করে অপরজিত থাকেন।
তৃতীয় দিন শেষে স্কোর :দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ৩৬৭ & ৬ এবং বাংলাদেশ ২৯৮|
ফলে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা বাংলাদেশের চাইতে এখনো পর্যন্ত ৭৫ রানে এগিয়ে আছে।
