insulin flower, which looks like a sunflower

This flower is known as the insulin plant flower, whose leaves are used as a diabetes medicine. Apart from being a medicine, a beautiful flower, this insulin plant is a plant that has a high content of phosphate elements. Elements are very important for the process of flowering and fruit formation.

To produce a high P day in the growing medium, the leaves and stems of the insulin plant (Smallanthus sonchifolius) were mixed in making compost. What is still a homework for me is whether this plant is a yacon plant whose tubers can be consumed.
