THE MISSING FOCUS

Can't ladies be just friends with men?

There is a bunch of blessings of having a solid network with the opposite sex.

But here's where a lot of my brothers/sisters out there are missing it.

Most men and women are always thinking of getting that one right man/woman and hence don't take time to enjoy friendship with the opposite sex without any serious string attached.

There are rich friendships to be made with the opposite sex. It's a refreshing and fantastic experience. Both men and women share another view of life and offer interesting alternatives to problems.

Having a relationship with the opposite sex without any strings attached will contribute greatly to that man/woman you want to be.

Sadly, most men and women have never taken the time to just be friends with the opposite sex, but this is a foundational necessity for having a successful marriage.

True friendship minus the pressure associated with a committed, romantic relationship is the best way to learn how men/women think, feel and behave in various situations.

My dear sisters and brothers, please take time to make solid friends with the opposite sex and learn from them. It is those friendships that will prepare you for your future husbands and wives.

Start with your brothers and sisters at home, colleagues at school and workplace as well as the church.

Don't miss this blessing for anything.

Just because you encountered one bad male/female friend doesn't mean they're all bad.

Try your best to manage or avoid the abusive, bullying ones.

But trust me there are a lot of good men and women out there who can help you grow to become that ideal woman/man you want to be.

Learn to enjoy friendship with the opposite sex.

Finally, make every man/woman who crosses your path better.
