James Webb and Hubble look at the same region of space and compare notes.
Hubble is an optical telescope seeing mostly in visible eyes just like normal human eyes. James Webb is a super-cooled telescope extremely sensitive to heat ( infrared radiation), so it sees mostly heat. Both telescopes are based in space.
