RELIGION, SOCIAL WEALTH AND STABILITY

One havoc plaguing Nigeria is the mystical attitude to money and wealth.
If people think that money is something given by God, they will definitely end up poor and I don't care what your religious leader has told you about that. I wish your religious leader will speak less about the subject and learn more from development economists. If God has sent anyone to teach nations about building wealth, it isn't pastors and Imams, it is patriots and development economists. The problem of many of us is that we don't know that God called soldiers, entertainers, policy makers and leaders who are not even religious at all and gave them gifs with which to build a healthy society. People have been wrongly taught that only religious leaders have been called and gifted by God, so they too try to give directions about everything, including how societies and nations build wealth. Of course they will only end up confusing their followers.
Money is outside of mysticism and homilies. Some have become so stupid they believe money can be made by grinding alligator pepper with the kidney of a lizard and human whatever. . .for licking with local oil and whatever amount you command will come to you. It is all false.
There is nothing mysterious about money and definitely, it is not a product of godliness and giving. It is a product of well orchestrated government policies, of planning and discipline at the level of governance first, and next, at the level of the individual. Both sides have to work together to create a powerful wealth building machine. Of course I definitely agree that it is important to reverence God in everything we do and not be arrogant and prideful against Him. I don't think anything life is worth our while of God doesn't smile at it.
